Assistant Professor of Music, Athletic Bands and Director of Instrumental Studies, College of Entertainment and the Arts

Lipscomb University’s School of Music in Nashville, Tennessee, invites applications for a full-time Instructor or tenure track Assistant Professor position in Athletic Pep Band and Director of Instrumental Studies, beginning August 2026. The successful candidate will lead and expand the Lipscomb University athletic band program while contributing to the broader goals of the School of Music.

The primary responsibility of this position is to direct the Athletic Pep Band. The successful candidate will oversee, recruit for, and manage the University Pep Band program, serve as a liaison with Athletics and Student Life, and ensure compliance with all athletic and NCAA requirements.
