In this role, you will assist physicians and nursing staff, handle phlebotomy tasks, provide insurance assistance, and ensure that clients receive the best possible care throughout their treatment journey.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist physicians and nursing staff with patient care to ensure a seamless experience.
• Prepare patients for examinations, including taking medical histories and vital signs.
• Administer injections, perform laboratory tests, and provide phlebotomy services.
• Maintain and prepare exam and treatment rooms with necessary supplies and instruments.
• Schedule appointments, manage prior authorizations, and oversee chart management.
• Provide essential information to patients to maximize their clinic visits.
• Coordinate with Residential RN for hospital visits, discharge planning, and medical needs.
• Conduct health and medical reviews and maintain a schedule of client doctor appointments.
• Ensure compliance with documentation policies and perform light housekeeping as needed.
Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant Program or Licensed Practical Nurse in the applicable state
• CPR certification preferred
• Phlebotomy training and prior lab experience preferred
• One year of experience in a physician office setting preferred
Additional Qualifications:
• Successful completion of background checks including criminal record, driving record, abuse/neglect, and fingerprint checks.
• Current driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance.
Physical Requirements:
• ADA Consideration - Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally (exists up to 1/3 of the time) and/or a negligible amount of force frequently (exists 1/3 to 2/3 of the time) to lift, carry, push, or pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
• Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
