Overview Employer: Publicis Health, LLC Job Title: Senior Art Director Job Requisition: 6630.6779.6 Job Location: Required to work from Company Office (New York, NY) certain days per week. Telecommuting allowed for balance of week. Domestic travel required approximately 10% of time. Job Type: Full Time Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon, but not limited to, the individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable employment laws. Responsibilities Duties: Design or create graphics to meet specific commercial or promotional needs, such as packaging, displays, or logos for pharmaceutical advertising. Create a range of concepts and designs for each project and be able to partner with copywriters, creative directors and other team members to ensure the art direction and visual presentation support the concept. Communicate visual designs, motion design, concepts and storyboards through presentations and securing client approval of recommended designs. Juggle multiple projects simultaneously and work closely with clients. Oversee and assist in the creation of designs and assets for pharmaceutical campaigns, general client requests, and internal company use. Lead and inspire teams of designers, motion and web designers, and production artists to execute cross-channel and digital work. Develop creative advertising concepts that act as the central message in a campaign. Involved in pre-production including digital and printed advertisements, video and animation projects, content for social media, and packaging design. Combine medical knowledge with creative thinking to develop creative concepts and designs that satisfy both the pharmaceutical and the creative aspect, while accurately responding to insights relatable to the target audience. Master the rules and regulations on pharmaceutical advertising including, ISI - Important Safety Information and FDA regulatory processes. Motivate and present visual design choices in presentations with the client using direct insights from a patient’s life with a certain illness or motivate visual design choices with insights that stem from a certain function of the treatment advertised. Survey the pharmaceutical landscape, take notes of new developments and look for new innovative creative executions Qualifications Requirements: Must have a bachelor’s degree in Digital Communications & Media or related field followed by 30 months of experience in the job offered or 30 months of experience in any occupation in which the required experience was gained. Position requires 30 months of experience in the following: Create visual content with Adobe Creative Cloud software including software for graphic design, video editing, animation, web development or photography. Create cutting edge creative work with Adobe Photoshop and manipulate photos and graphics using advanced tools including masking, content-aware replacement, filling, layering, typography, and transparency. Design advanced vector graphics using Adobe Illustrator. Create print and presentation layouts using Adobe InDesign. Utilize Sketch to create websites. Create video content, motion graphics or visual effects in digital advertising using Adobe After Effects. Required to work from Company Office (New York, NY) certain days per week. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
