Physical Education Climbing Wall Staff Leader

Climbing Wall Staff are responsible for managing risk at the climbing wall while facilitating a welcoming and inclusive environment for Grinnell College students, faculty, staff, and community members.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting patrons in the correct use of climbing wall equipment
• Belaying patrons for top rope climbing
• Upholding and enforcing climbing wall policies and procedures
• Managing set up and clean up of the climbing wall
• Inspecting climbing wall equipment
• Responding to medical emergencies at the climbing wall
