We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Admissions Manager to join our HKUST MBA program. As the Admissions Manager, you will play a pivotal role in attracting and selecting a diverse pool of talented candidates who will contribute to the exceptional reputation of our program. You will be responsible for overseeing the admissions process from start to finish, ensuring seamless execution, driving results, and maintaining the highest standards of excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Application Management
- Manage the end-to-end admissions process, including the collection, review, and evaluation of applications.
- Provide guidance and support to applicants throughout the application process.
- Collaborate with the admissions committee to select candidates who align with the program's objectives and values.
Outreach and Recruitment
- Develop and execute effective recruitment strategies to attract high-quality candidates from diverse backgrounds.
- Represent the HKUST MBA program at various recruitment events, information sessions, and fairs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective students, alumni, and partner organizations.
Evaluation and Selection
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of applicants, considering academic achievements, work experience, leadership potential, and other relevant criteria.
- Interview and assess candidates to determine their suitability for the program.
- Collaborate with the admissions committee to make final decisions on applicant acceptance.
Driving Results
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve enrollment targets and meet program objectives.
- Continuously monitor and analyze admissions metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to establish ambitious goals and implement action plans to drive results.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency enhancements to ensure timely and accurate decision-making.
- Provide regular reports and updates to key stakeholders on admissions performance and outcomes.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required; a master’s degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience in HR or recruiting fields.
- Proven experience in admissions or recruitment, preferably within a graduate business program.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Analytical mindset and proficiency in data analysis tools.
- Familiarity with the HKUST MBA program or similar programs is a plus.

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
