The Dean of Students Office (DSTO) is committed to supporting students throughout their educational journey, helping them lead meaningful and fulfilling lives while contributing to the community. Reporting to the Head of Student Support & Activities in the Dean of Students' Office, the appointee will be responsible for:
- Guiding student groups in strategic planning, regulatory compliance, and activity execution;
- Assisting in leading a team responsible for managing student amenities, including updating user guidelines and work protocols, overseeing daily operations, and monitoring staff performance;
- Occasionally working outside regular office hours, such as evenings and weekends;
- Facilitating student leadership programs; and
- Undertaking other duties as assigned by the Head.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of relevant post-qualification work experience;
- Preference for candidates with experience in student development in the tertiary education sector;
- Strong team player who can work independently and proactively;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese & Putonghua);
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; graphic design skills are a plus;
- Shortlisted candidates will be invited to participate in written and IT tests; and
- The position may require working irregular hours, including evenings and weekends.
(Duration: 2 years, renewable)
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
