Position Summary
The Lawn & Plant Health Care Technician assists in implementing Glengate’s Regular and Organic Lawn and Plant Health Care programs on high-end residential properties. This role focuses on diagnosing turf and landscape plant issues, applying treatments safely and accurately, and communicating effectively with property care managers.
Key Responsibilities
Implement lawn and plant health care programs on high-end residential properties in lower Fairfield County, CT and Westchester County, NY
Inspect turf and landscape plantings to diagnose insect, disease, and cultural issues
Apply treatments according to contracted programs and best practices
Communicate verbally with Property Care Managers
Accurately document application details using Glengate’s internal software system
Job Requirements
1–3 years of field experience and/or background in organic property management
Connecticut Pesticide Applicator License (or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment)
New York Pesticide Applicator License (or ability to obtain within 6 months of employment)
Valid driver’s license
Excellent communication skills
Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
