Position Summary

The Lawn & Plant Health Care Technician assists in implementing Glengate’s Regular and Organic Lawn and Plant Health Care programs on high-end residential properties. This role focuses on diagnosing turf and landscape plant issues, applying treatments safely and accurately, and communicating effectively with property care managers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement lawn and plant health care programs on high-end residential properties in lower Fairfield County, CT and Westchester County, NY

  • Inspect turf and landscape plantings to diagnose insect, disease, and cultural issues

  • Apply treatments according to contracted programs and best practices

  • Communicate verbally with Property Care Managers

  • Accurately document application details using Glengate’s internal software system

Job Requirements

  • 1–3 years of field experience and/or background in organic property management

  • Connecticut Pesticide Applicator License (or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment)

  • New York Pesticide Applicator License (or ability to obtain within 6 months of employment)

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision

Position Range:

$20/HR - $25/HR
