Summary
Assists the Nutrition Clinicians in meal pass as well as tray retrieval. Is responsible for stocking and maintaining all nourishment rooms and day spaces.
Essential Job Responsibilities
Takes inventory on nourishment rooms and day spaces.
Collaborates with St. Mary’s Nutrition Services department to obtain stocking supplies.
Maintains adequate inventory of nourishments and supplies for patients and families on the nursing unit.
Will be responsible for cleaning and monitoring temperatures of all refrigerators and freezers on the inpatient unit
Assist the Nutrition clinician in delivering meal trays, as well as tray retrieval after the meal hour.
Follows exposure/infection control, safety and equipment management, hazard, and quality improvement/risk management plans. Washes in and out of all patient rooms.

Customer Service Responsibilities
Demonstrate excellent customer service and standards of behaviors as well as encourages, coaches, and monitors the same in team members. This individual should consistently promote teamwork and direct communication with co-workers and deal discretely and sensitively with confidential information.

Essential Job Qualifications
High school diploma or GED preferred, work permit may be required
Knowledge of basic math, ability to inventory, and stock
Demonstrated interpersonal and customer service skills; ability to interact with people of varying backgrounds.
