Position Overview
The Loan Servicing Representative is responsible for performing a variety of duties to support the loan servicing function. As an integral member of the lending team, this individual will monitor pending and current loans, rate changes, and related transactions. The Loan Servicing Representative will coordinate work within the department and with other departments to ensure delivery of superior quality service to both internal and external customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Quotes loan payoffs to customers.
- Uploads loan account file information to the core processing system and performs next day system review.
- Performs Branch Capture end of day processing.
- Processes changes to loans in core processing system based on documented change in terms
- Reviews residential and consumer loan files; checks files for accuracy; reviews checklist for all documents needed; documents exceptions when needed; clears exceptions upon receipt and verification of requested documentation.
- Reviews and verifies maintenance entered by other users of core system for all loan types.
- Prepares and processes loan payments.
- Performs loan maintenance changes to the core servicing system, in accordance with current maintenance procedures as needed.
- Coordinates specific work tasks with other personnel within the department as well as with other departments in order to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of information.
- Completes non-post transactions and transaction exceptions as needed.
- Accepts and processes draws on lines of credit.
- Reviews daily billings, late notices and monthly statements for all loans.
- Processes address changes, in accordance with current address change procedures.
- Responds to inquiries relating to his/her particular area, or to requests from customers, other personnel, etc., within given time frames and within established policy.
- Handles direct communications, both written and verbal, with customers and other parties.
- Handles customer telephone calls.
Education & Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of one (1) year related experience required.
Skill(s)
Moderate reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills; moderate interpersonal relations and communicative skills; moderate typing and PC skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access, and Word; loan processing; ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach with hands or arms, use hands to manipulate objects, handle or feel, and lift items weighing 20 lbs. or less; visual, auditory and speaking skills.

Pay Transparency
