Job Description:

The GAME School is looking for an Administrative Support Coordinator to support leadership across Tempe and LA. Based in LA, the Administrative Support Coordinator will play a critical role in enabling smooth operations as we launch academic programs in ASU’s California Center.

The Administrative Support Coordinator will provide administrative and operational support to the School Director based in Tempe, AZ and faculty located in Los Angeles, CA. This role serves as a key point of coordination between geographically distributed teams, ensuring efficient scheduling, administrative processes, and event support. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in an evolving academic unit.

Position Salary Range:

  • $70,304 - $80,000; depends on experience within posted range

Essential Duties:

  • Manage calendars for the School Director, including scheduling meetings across multiple locations and time zones

  • Provide administrative support to faculty, including coordination and processing of academic personnel actions and related documentation

  • Coordinate and support events, meetings, and special programs in the Los Angeles area

  • Assist with travel arrangements, reimbursements, and procurement activities as needed

  • Prepare, track and maintain records, reports and correspondence in accordance with university policies

  • Serve as liaison between Tempe-based leadership and Los Angeles faculty to facilitate communication and workflow

  • Support general administrative operations and special projects as assigned 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience providing high-level administrative support to Director leadership

  • Experience performing a variety of administrative duties, including maintaining calendars, coordinating travel, and processing administrative transactions

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented

  • Experience using Microsoft Office and Workday 

Working Environment:

  • Activities are performed in an environmentally controlled office setting subject to extended periods of sitting, keyboarding, manipulating a computer mouse and using a telephone

  • Required to stand for varying lengths of time and walk moderate distances to perform work

  • Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, pushing and pulling up to 25 pounds

  • Regular activities require ability to quickly change priorities which may include and/or are subject to resolution of conflicts

  • Clearly communicate to perform essential functions
