Job Description
Inspect, disassemble, clean, repair, and reassemble used Sidel equipment and spare parts. Restore components to original specifications while ensuring compliance with Sidel’s quality standards. Perform detailed quality inspections on reconditioned parts and equipment using appropriate measurement tools and testing procedures to verify functionality and technical compliance. Document the new and reconditioning process, including the initial condition of received parts, work performed, and final test results. Provide feedback to supervisors and team members on recurring issues and potential improvements. Assist Field Service Engineers (FSEs) by preparing new or reconditioned parts for field interventions and providing technical input on the suitability of components for specific customer applications. Ensure all new and reconditioning activities are carried out in accordance with Sidel’s safety, quality, and environmental standards. Contribute to process optimization initiatives aimed at improving reconditioning efficiency, reducing turnaround times, and extending the lifespan of parts.
