Position Overview The IGCSE IB Mathematics Facilitator is responsible for delivering high-quality mathematics instruction aligned with Cambridge IGCSE and International Baccalaureate curricula. The facilitator fosters conceptual understanding, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills while supporting students from diverse cultural and academic backgrounds in an international school environment. Key Responsibilities Plan, deliver, and assess engaging mathematics lessons aligned with Cambridge IGCSE and IBDP standards Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learner needs, including EAL students Promote inquiry-based learning and real-world application of mathematical concepts Prepare students effectively for internal and external assessments and examinations Integrate technology and digital tools to enhance learning outcomes Design formative and summative assessments aligned with curriculum requirements Provide timely, constructive feedback to support student growth Maintain accurate academic records and contribute to report writing Use assessment data to inform instruction and intervention strategies Act as a mentor and advisor, supporting students’ academic and personal development Encourage a growth mindset, resilience, and academic integrity Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and achievement Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning, moderation, and interdisciplinary learning Participate in faculty meetings, professional learning communities, and school events Engage in continuous professional development, including IB and Cambridge training Conduct additional support classes for students if needed. Guide students in Extended Essay coursework. Contribute positively to the school’s international ethos and mission Qualifications Experience Master’s degree in mathematics, Education, or a related field Teaching qualification/certification (PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent) Minimum 3 years of experience teaching IGCSE Mathematics and IB Mathematics Strong knowledge of international curricula and assessment frameworks Experience in an international or multicultural school setting (preferred) Skills Competencies Excellent subject knowledge and pedagogical skills Strong classroom management and organizational abilities Effective communication and interpersonal skills Adaptability, cultural sensitivity, and collaborative mindset Proficiency in educational technology and learning management systems Committed to safeguarding and child protection policies Benefits at CHIREC Competitive salary depending upon qualifications and experience Lunch on all school-working days School transport as per the available bus routes Comprehensive Medical Insurance Personal accident policy Term Life policy Professional Development How to Apply Complete this application before the closing date.
