Job Summary The University of Southern Mississippi invites applicants for a full-time, 12-month, tenure-track faculty position as an Assistant Professor in the College of Nursing and Health Professions, School of Leadership and Advanced Nursing Practice. Qualified applicants with teaching/practice experience as a board-certified Nurse Anesthetist are welcome to apply. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Develop and teach graduate courses. Contribute broadly to our thriving graduate and undergraduate nursing programs. Mentor/advise nurse anesthesia students. Supervise nurse anesthesia students in the simulation setting. Develop and maintain syllabi, lesson plans, and more for each course taught. Maintain the standards of The University of Southern Mississippi. Possess a passion to educate anesthesia students Assist the program clinical coordinator with student scheduling, onboarding, tracking, paperwork, applications, and communications. Inventory simulation supply ordering, stocking, and inventory. Performs other duties as assigned.
