
Account Manager (Field Sales - Oil & Gas Services)
Job Description
The Account Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining customer relationships within a designated territory, driving revenue growth, and supporting field operations. This is a hands-on, field-based sales role working closely with Operations to deliver service solutions that meet customer needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with key customers in the oil & gas sector
- Identify new business opportunities and grow existing accounts
- Coordinate with Operations to ensure successful job execution and service delivery
- Conduct regular field visits, customer meetings, and site walk-downs
- Prepare quotes, proposals, and pricing in alignment with company guidelines
- Track sales activity, forecasts, and customer feedback
- Resolve customer issues and ensure high levels of satisfaction
- Maintain knowledge of market conditions, competitors, and service offerings
Qualifications
- 3–7+ years of oil & gas field sales or related industry experience
- Strong understanding of field operations for oil and gas service company
- Proven ability to build relationships and close business
- Self-motivated with strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, field-driven environment
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within assigned territory
Physical Requirements
Regular field presence required, including walking job sites, climbing, and working in outdoor environments.
