Consumer Family Science Teacher

LOCATION OF POSITON: Fairport NY 14450; Multi-Occupational/FOCUS Program

TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: 10 Month Position, Full Time

STARTING DATE: September 2026

SALARY RANGE: $48,500 - $78,642 per school year (or higher depending on BUP negotiations)
*Actual salary is dependent upon education, experience and contract.

DUTIES:
1. Instruct high school students with disabilities in the Multi-Occupational/FOCUS (MOF) Consumer Family Science program.
2. Differentiate instruction for a variety of learning styles and needs.
3. Maintain student records, such as discipline, attendance, and grades.
4. Attend staff meetings, and professional development activities, as needed.
5. Other duties as determined by the building administrator. 

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. NYS Family and Consumer Science teacher certification required.
2. A minimum of two (2) years of experience in Family and Consumer Science required.
3. Experience working with Special Education students required.
4. Physically able to perform essential functions of the position (with or without reasonable accommodation).
