Requires an Associate’s Degree, specialized training in Electronics.
Must have 5+ years electrical testing experience or equivalent training and/or experience.
Awareness and comfort with voltage levels and current levels, i.e. voltages from 1KV to 180 KV.
Ability to clearly read and interpret all work instructions.
Strong organizational skills, computer skills, and experience with Windows/MS Office.
Allocates time and resources efficiently, focusing on ever-shifting priorities, continually seeks way to improve individual/team efficiency through multitasking.
Working knowledge of High Voltage Power Supplies.
Effectively communicates with and engages all levels of the organization verbally and in writing.
Ability to stand and work for at least 8 hours a day
Must be able to lift a 20 pound High Voltage Power supply while installing and removing the power supply from test kit and/or burn-in chamber. Must be able occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. Must also be able to walk the aisles of test stations as well as have the ability to walk to and from the general HVP White Board Area as well as the final inspection, assembly, and stock room areas to transport parts and assemblies.
Ability to adhere to various gowning requirements which will include wearing, lab jacket, EH safety shoes, safety glasses and following all COVID prevention protocol.
Ability to work overtime if necessary.
