MAINTENANCE SPECIALIST - HVAC Repair - Pneumatics
Location: District-Wide
Duties: Repair and maintain all HVAC, steam and hydronics systems. Troubleshoot equipment failures and respond to service calls. Maintain truck inventory and department tools. Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Buildings & Grounds, Maintenance Manager, Maintenance Supervisors, Leads or designee.
Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent, plus 2 years' experience in HVAC or related field and or vo-tech training a plus. Class "D" Minnesota Driver's License. Understand and observe oral and written instructions. Working knowledge of computers and computer programs used in the assigned area. Ability to maintain records and prepare reports. Motivated self-starter; well-organized and efficient; ability to work with minimum supervision and direction. Ability to maintain regular attendance, which includes completing an assigned day. Ability to perform position responsibilities, including physical factors, work devices and materials handling, data functions, and people functions. Must be physically working in the building/on site.
Preferred Qualifications: Either License Preferred: Pneumatic background or repair certifications, Universal Refrigerant License or Pipefitter License or Master Gas License, plumbing, electrical, RPZ Backflow Certification, Boilers License, HVAC A.A.S. degree. Rate of Pay: $36.70/hour. (Additional $2.50 or $5.00 stipend available with proper professional maintenance license) Refer to SEIU Contract on AH website for more info.
