Overview
The Scheduler / Recruiter ensures that clients receive uninterrupted care by maintaining a full, efficient, and reliable caregiver schedule. This person also leads caregiver recruitment and on-boarding to keep the agency staffed with qualified, compassionate professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily caregiver schedules, coverage changes, and time-off requests.
- Recruit, screen, and onboard new caregivers.
- Maintain accurate records in scheduling software and HR systems.
- Communicate schedule changes promptly to clients and caregivers.
- Monitor staffing ratios and track credential renewals.
- Support the Operations Director/Owner with HR documentation and compliance reporting.
Reporting Structure
Reports to the Director of Operations/Owner.
Required Qualifications:
- 2-3 years scheduling or recruiting in fast-paced office environment (preferably healthcare).
- CNA or MA certification.
- High-school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Strong multitasking and communication skills.
- Possess light secretarial skill and have a polite telephone manner.
- Familiar with HR or scheduling software.
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills and level of experience.
- Capability with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, and Word).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Some college credits.
- Experience with home-health or non-medical senior care or Department of Health and Hospitals (DHH) regulations.
- Some experience with WellSky, Indeed, and internet recruiting sources.
