Job Description
Qualifications
Five years experience working with commercial and/or government contracts, demonstrating the ability to supervise and oversee procurement. A bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in management or a related field is required. Must be able to travel to and from worksites within a 60-mile radius and have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities
- Responsible for overseeing and implementing policies and procedures.
- Assist in the execution and management of multiple contracts.
- Supervise direct reports, provide guidance, training, and motivation.
- Oversee and maintain sub-contractor agreements.
- Assist VP of Contracts with preparation of new contract RFPs and bids.
- Assist VP of Contracts with operational and financial evaluation of contracts, including monthly invoicing.
- Ensures OSHA compliance and reporting requirements.
- Assist VP of Contracts on management and maintenance of AbilityOne contracts.
- Serve as the liaison between the customer and MERS Goodwill.
- Position requires 24/7 availability for emergency calls, directing staff as needed.
- Operate company vehicles as assigned and ensure no unauthorized usage of agency property, including agency vehicles (no unauthorized persons in agency vehicles).
- Other duties as assigned.
