Description
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable frontend and backend automation frameworks from scratch
- Develop and maintain reliable CI/CD pipelines and modern test environments
- Define and execute unit, API, integration, E2E, performance, and non-functional test strategies
- Validate scalability, reliability, security, and distributed system behaviour.
- Perform deep debugging and root cause analysis
- Lead shift-left quality practices and improve testability across teams
- Build AI-powered utilities for test generation, synthetic data, regression optimization, flaky test detection, and defect triage
- Integrate LLM-based workflows into quality pipelines
- Collaborate with R&D, DevOps, Product, and Infra to drive company-wide automation excellence
- Champion AI-first thinking in solving repetitive engineering problems
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 6–9 years of experience in automation architecture, functional & non-functional testing, and test strategy
- Strong coding skills in Python or JavaScript (C# is a plus)
- Proven experience designing automation frameworks from scratch
- Experience with API/UI testing, distributed systems validation, and CI/CD tools
- Cloud exposure (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Strong debugging and analytical skills
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools
- Experience building AI-powered utilities or productivity tools
- Understanding of prompt engineering and LLM-based code/test generation
- Curiosity-driven, experimentation mindset
- Experience in cloud-native SaaS environments
- Exposure to MLOps or AI testing frameworks
- Experience in fast-scaling product companies
- Contributions to open-source or internal developer tools
- Exposure to Performance, load testing
