Job Description
Yellowstone Club’s Snowmaking department is currently seeking candidates for Snowmakers for the upcoming Winter season! Our Winter employment dates are Late October - January 1st.
The purpose of the Snowmaker is to maintain snow guns, hoses, hydrants, and pumps when snowmaking is operational.
Responsibilities Include:
- Operate snowmaking equipment for creating manufactured snow from water resources.
- Produce quality snow through the use of both air/water and fan equipment.
- Constant relocation of guns and hoses to various areas around the mountain.
- Adjusting, turning, or moving snow guns, sometimes by hand, to maintain snowmaking efficiency.
- Adjusting the water and or airflow to snow guns.
Position Requirements:
- Must be able to work in varying winter weather conditions.
- High school diploma, GED or vocational training, or job-related course work required; Basic understanding of mechanical equipment and systems.
- Previous work experience as a Snowmaker; Experience working at a resort or club setting.
- Valid State Driver’s License
- This position operates on 12 hours shifts from 12:00 am-12:00 pm or from 12:00 pm-12:00 am.
- This position will likely require you to work overtime depending on the weather conditions.
The position offered is a seasonal position located in Big Sky, Montana.
