Job Description
Position: Senior engineer - Wind Performance Monitoring
Education: Diploma or B.E/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering
Experience: 3 to 6 Years
Location: Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform 24x7 monitoring, remote operation, and control of SCADA systems in coordination with the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM).
- Troubleshoot and resolve SCADA connectivity and communication issues.
- Take timely action on alerts and notifications generated by the SCADA system.
- Maintain an accurate logbook for generation, breakdowns, and stoppages.
- Validate the internal logbook against the OEM’s Daily Generation Report (DGR) to ensure operational compliance.
- Analyze repetitive, recurring, or critical system errors and initiate corrective actions.
- Provide feedback and resolution updates on issues highlighted by the Regional Power Dispatch Centre (RPDC).
- Maintain records and monitor power curtailments.
- Raise and track tickets for SCADA and IT-related issues until closure.
- Monitor and manage the operation of feeders, Primary Substations (PSS), and Grid Substations (GSS).
