Ensure work station is clean before starting to prepare to check any return kits or outgoing kits. Always put on PPE while carrying out the duty.
To ensure returned kits by transporter are complete and correct as per document
To perform check on returned kit content (instrument and implant) against checklist
To check functionality of the returned instrument/equipment, defect such as loosen parts, leaks, wear & tear, other indication of disrepair and cleanliness (contamination)
To perform cleaning as per Work Instruction on instrument that is found to have contained residual material
To record used item and raise document for top-up/replacement
To reconfirm kit completeness before sealing the kit to be put-away for next case
To raise “Incomplete Kit Form” (yellow form) if kit is incomplete with item code, quantity and date. Affix the form onto the container/instrument tray
Incomplete kit shall be put-away but not sealed
To prepare required instrument and implant kits as per booking
To perform check on the kit content against checklist when necessary
To perform functionality check on instrument/equipment when necessary
If incomplete kit is required for surgery, perform top-up request. If stock is still not available, to indicate on checklist
To raise delivery document
To perform kit top-up/replenishment on weekly basis as well as when required; update “Incomplete Kit Form” where applicable To ensure complete kit is sealed after top-up/replenishment is carried out To ensure the use of latest specification checklist
To ensure outdated specification checklist is removed from the document tray
Report to immediate superior if found variance/discrepancy during inspection e.g. item code, item batch number, item quantity, dirty/ damaged/ defect/ tear/ unsterile item, etc.
Assist in investigation for variance and/or customer complaint
Update system whenever there is physical stock movement, where applicable
Write clearly and accurately on all document i.e. checklist, form and email communication. Keep all records in a safe and organized manner.
Assist immediate superior to communicate with Principal and Principal Sales Agent/Rep and seek approval/clearance to dispatch incomplete kit or other special arrangement.
Assist immediate superior to communicate with Principal and Principal Sales Agent/Reps on sets planning and mobilization, replenishments, sets returned discrepancy, etc.
Assist immediate superior with product recalls from Principal. Trace back the recalled item availability and current locations. Liaise with drivers and Principal’s Sales Agents/Reps to pull back the recalled item from hospitals as and when required.
Participate in inventory management activities such as performing weekly/scheduled cycle count as well as any scheduled stock counts. The inventory management will also include the monitoring and retrieving of expired and short expiry stock from implant kits at all locations.
Be on standby after office hours, weekends and public holidays to attend to urgent booking.
Assist in managing inventory at branches/hub, highlight if stock is low for replenishment from central warehouse.
Comply with ISO, SOP, GSDP, GDP, GDPMD and GMP’s requirements as well as the Zuellig Pharma’s Code of Conduct at all times.
Ensure and maintain good housekeeping, 5S and EHS at all times.
Perform other duties as assigned as and when required by the management
