Facilities/Equipment Maintenance Technician

Under general supervision this position functions as a member of the maintenance department performing all general preventative maintenance. Performs routine maintenance on all HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems.  Works in all areas of maintenance including, but not limited to, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, masonry, carpentry, ventilation, and renovations.  Maintains facility grounds to include mowing, trimming, snow and ice removal. Maintains detailed tool and supply inventories. Responsible for maintaining various logs, charts, and completion of purchase orders for the department. May oversee inmate work crews.
