This position reports to:
Sales Support Manager__
In this role, you will have the opportunity to create and complete bids, estimations, quotations based on customer specification or customer requirements or budget in order to achieve both market competitiveness and the expected margin level for the Company. Each day, you will maintain and improve the balance between all ABB units and customers that are present in the area of responsibility. You will also showcase your expertise by formulating competitive bids, estimates, and quotations with the best product mix and appropriate technical and commercial considerations, ensuring timely, detailed proposals that include full and accurate costs.

This role is contributing to the Electrification Critical Power business in North America. Main stakeholders are Low and Medium Voltage UPS, STS, and PDU product groups.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Calculating a budget value for the sales team or customer to evaluate customer willingness to invest using appropriate level of details.
- Managing the preparation of all technical and commercial documentation (e.g. defining the most suitable technology and product type(s)), financial (e.g. total price sheet, cash flow analysis), indicating prices and trading conditions.
- Collaborates with sales teams and engages with customers when required.
- Ensuring that, in accordance with bid/estimate/quotation planning, inputs for editing activities are provided on time and follow established quality procedures.

Qualifications for the role
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field with 12+ years relevant work experience in the following: design or application engineering of low and/or medium voltage electrification products.
- Extensive internal and external stakeholder engagement.
- You are immersed in review of customer specifications and electrical one-lines and the data center market.
- You have comprehensive understanding of customer needs and work on high impact, diverse, and complex proposals.
- Highly adept in the use of Microsoft Office products, SAP, and MS Project or Excel project management software.
- You are passionate about delivering solutions that meet the customer needs with profitable growth for ABB.
- Collaborate well with sales teams, engages in technical discussions with customers, and with senior levels of business management.
- Work with a sense of urgency and ownership; until the job is complete.
