Server, Emerald Valley Ranch (Seasonal)

Job Title: Emerald Valley Ranch Dinner Server Job Pay Rate: $19.50/per hour   Job Summary: The Broadmoor is committed to creating a culture of family and community while simultaneously providing a genuine, unforgettable experience for our guests and team. As a member of the Emerald Valley team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest service and serving food and beverage to guests. What you will be doing: Perform table set up, replenish and clean up before, during and/or after the guest’s meal and replenish snacks, and stock bar as necessary. Answer menu questions and make suggestions regarding food and beverage service. Ability to act as bartender and mix ingredients to prepare beverages to guest satisfaction. Serve and is familiar with a variety of wines, beers and cocktails. Obtain and maintain knowledge of guest(s) diet restrictions and food allergies. Maintain accurate communication with kitchen staff regarding orders, times, guest needs, etc. in order to provide efficient service. Observe diners to respond to any additional requests and to determine when meal has been completed. Buss and carry used tableware to kitchen area. Handle opening and closing procedures as directed and complete daily and weekly side-work. Follow RANCH safety and hygiene standards. Follow all directions received from General Manager. Report tips as required by the IRS. Abide by and maintain up to date knowledge of Colorado liquor laws. Assist other dining room staff and all other staff as needed. What we are looking for: High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED); and at least one year of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Fine dining experience required. Knowledge of alcohol service and laws is required. Knowledge of AAA and Forbes dining standards preferred. Experience working with touch screen, Point of Sale systems In compliance with state liquor laws, must be at least 18 years of age.
