
Customer Service Rep
Job Description
Carries out all customer service activities such as responding to inquiries, processing orders and handling complaints, in a prompt, courteous and effective manner. Other responsibilities include phone duties, greeting visitors, scheduling and other clerical duties as directed
Responsibilities:
- Process and input customer orders and purchase orders
- Check for product availability
- Assist Account Managers with orders and special requests
- Coordinate special, last minute shipping requests with transportation and operations department
- Ensure proper invoicing of accounts including issuing credits
- Work with Accounts Receivable about customer accounts
- Answer phone calls, keep up with daily emails and operate various types of office machines and computers necessary to perform duties
- Assist General Manager as needed
- Other general office duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or approved equivalent in experience
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Must be organized and display excellent communication skills and a personable attitude
- Ability to work well in a team environment, maintaining a professional and respectful demeanor at all times
Pay and Benefits:
- $16/hour
