You are accountable for consistent, compliant installation performance on site. You own blue collar deployment, workface assurance, labour norm establishment, and field-level IMS implementation converting manufactured product into installed, tested, and commissioned systems on client sites. You lead through visible presence, standardised controls, and collaborative working with Project Managers, manufacturing, and engineering. Your focus is first time right delivery, programme certainty, and building client confidence through reliability and professionalism. You develop site supervisors and installation teams, embed lean workface discipline, and use digital tools (Dalux, P6) to drive evidence-based decisions and continuous improvement across all locations.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

  • Ensuring that robust Health and Safety systems and procedures are set out, adopted and adhered to at all times for relevant site activities
  • Drive high levels of productivity through the management and control of installation norms
  • Implement LFE and CI methodology in all undertakings
  • Oversea the work of sub-contractors and in-direct labour ensuring safe and timely installation and commissioning
  • Liaise with design and commissioning teams, ensuring effective construction methods take consideration of these tasks.
  • Ensure continuous improvement in all areas of Health, safety, quality and environmental performance ensuring that management systems are in place to demonstrate control and development
  • Engagement with project teams, quality team and planners to ensure robust construction plans are identified from the outset of all projects
  • Continual reviewing of our site teams in terms of progress, abilities and quality of manpower/supervision
  • Understanding of all the different trade agreements, allowances, expenses, bonus and lodging allowances for hourly paid labour
  • Determine labour requirements to deliver the project efficiently.
  • Ensure training is up to date and relevant. Also where required liaise with HR in managing site labour training register to ensure all core training and specialist training is captured
  • Ensure we have a robust and fully SQEP’d workforce
  • Resource loading activities to enable the controlling of costs and hours
  • Overseeing any Union or IR issues that we may have from a site perspective and attendance at any required meetings
  • Coaching of project teams to ensure effective and efficient site operations

Show your expertise

  • NVQ Level 6 or equivalent
  • Energy / Process Plant experience in delivering mechanical services.
  • SMSTS
  • CSCS Black Card
