Job Description
Quanex is looking for a Master Scheduler to join our team located in Irving, Texas. This position develops and implements production build and material forecasting strategies to support Manufacturing Operations and meet customer demand while optimizing inventories. As an output of the SIOP process, the Master Scheduler develops and loads a Master Production Schedule (MPS) and schedules high level Manufacturing Operations across multiple departments to meet business objectives. This position will lead monthly cross-functional meetings to collaborate, establish and measure production and inventory targets by month for a rolling 24-month period and is responsible for the day-to-day management and maintenance of the MPS and coordinating build plans and execution with Planning.
