PLUMBING TECHNICIAN II

Duties/Responsibilities

• Support other technicians in diagnosing leaks, clearing blockages, and performing routine preventive maintenance. 

• Maintain a clean job site, organize tools on the service truck, and strictly adhere to OSHA safety protocols. 

• Work alongside electrical and HVAC teams to ensure plumbing systems do not conflict with other building infrastructure. 

• Capacity to take on supervisory role in projects, guiding and mentoring junior technicians and coordinating team efforts 

• Proficiency in reading and understanding blueprints, schematics, and plumbing codes for installation and maintenance work. 

• Thorough understanding of commercial plumbing systems including water distribution, drainage, sewage systems, and backflow prevention. 

• Ability to diagnose and resolve more complex plumbing issues, utilizing critical thinking and advanced techniques. 

• Capacity to take on supervisory roles in projects, guiding and mentoring junior technicians and coordinating team efforts. 

• Proficiency in reading and understanding blueprints, schematics, and plumbing codes for installation and maintenance work. 

• Ability to interact professionally with clients, address concerns, and ensure customer satisfaction. 

• Familiarity with state and local plumbing codes, ensuring compliance during installations and repairs. 

Strong understanding of advanced safety practices and willingness to mentor others on maintaining a safe job site.
