Drive profitability & margin improvement & provide financial intelligence to GM & all functions.
Improve systems, processes & controls
Lead a team of financial analysts
Oversee forecasting & budget processes for Canada and work with the US team and the Canadian team to develop forecasts & budgets that drive profitability & support management of the business, as well as supervise and support the manufacturing operation budget process
Ensure completion & accuracy of account reconciliations & resolve reconciling items timely
Work with Home Office & North America finance teams to implement financial goals & objectives & ensure compliance
Responsible for all Treasury reporting for Canada
Calculate taxes and prepare reporting
Responsible for Federal and Provincial audits
Support the A/P and Onbase program for Canada
Responsible for year-end audit completion with the corporate chosen auditors and ensuring the timely completion of physical inventory counts for the plant and operations
Serve on project teams as required
Maintain the general ledger for Canada
