Community Support Specialist – CSBG ASPIRE Program
Location: Fayetteville, NC
Job Type: Full-Time, Non-Exempt
Salary: $45,200 – $48,000 annually
Travel: Up to 85%
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (some evenings and weekends required)

Position Summary
The Community Support Specialist – CSBG ASPIRE Program provides direct support and service coordination to individuals and families working toward self-sufficiency. This position is responsible for developing and implementing individualized service plans, connecting participants to community resources, and ensuring compliance with program requirements and professional standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized service plans
- Connect participants to community resources and services
- Maintain accurate case documentation and ensure compliance
- Provide advocacy, crisis support, and skill-building activities
- Coordinate services with staff and community partners
- Monitor participant progress and update plans as needed
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, or related field
Experience:
- 2 years of experience in case management, community support, or social services preferred
Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Knowledge of community resources and public assistance programs
- Strong organizational, documentation, and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to apply professional judgment and maintain accountability
- Proficiency in case management systems, Microsoft Office, and data entry
