Job Description
Bed Utility
POSITION PURPOSE The Bed Utility associate works as a member of the setup and pour team assisting with the preparation and placement of materials in forms as directed.
RESPONSIBILITIES General housekeeping and waste disposal throughout the shift Collect and prepare materials as directed Prepare and clean forms Place items in forms as directed Assist with concrete pours as needed Assist with raking, screeding, and leveling concrete as needed Adhere to all Metromont and OSHA safety rules and regulations Housekeeping as necessary to maintain work area, tools, and equipment in a clean and orderly manner
SCOPE OF AUTHORITY Highly supervised Tasks are typically assigned Works as a member of a team

EDUCATION AND TECHNOLOGY High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred 0-1 years of previous general construction experience preferred
WORK ENVIRONMENT / SCHEDULE Sheltered, outdoor environment Work area is not climate controlled and may be exposed to changing weather and temperature conditions Monday - Friday Schedule varies with workload and location Unscheduled overtime may be required depending on business needs

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS This position requires standing for long periods of time, lifting (up to 75 lbs.) and bending, repetitive motion with medium force, and an ability to frequently climb up to 15 feet above ground using stairs.
