Conducts comprehensive nutrition assessments to evaluate patients' dietary needs and health status. Develops individualized nutrition care plans based on assessment findings and patient goals. Provides nutrition counseling and education to patients and their families, tailored to their specific health conditions and cultural preferences. Monitors and evaluates patients' progress, adjusting nutrition plans as necessary to achieve desired outcomes. Collaborates with healthcare teams, including physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals, to integrate nutrition care into overall patient treatment plans. Utilizes evidence-based practices and current research to inform nutrition recommendations and interventions. Documents all patient interactions, assessments, and care plans accurately and promptly in electronic health records. Participates in patient care rounds and interdisciplinary meetings to discuss and coordinate patient care. Educates and mentors dietetic interns and new employees, providing supervised practice experiences. Other duties as assigned. Engages in continuous professional development to stay current with emerging research and best practices in clinical nutrition. Participates in quality improvement initiatives and research projects to enhance nutrition care services. Ensures compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines in the provision of nutrition care.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and have good comprehension of conversational English [Required]
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office [Required]
Education:
• Bachelor's [Required]
• Master's [Preferred]
Field of Study:
• in nutrition or nutrition related field
Work Experience:
• 2+ years of clinical experience [Required]
• Healthcare or hospital experience [Preferred]

• Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) [Preferred]

Pay Range:
