Job Description
Job Summary:

Formulate medical and nursing diagnoses and institute therapy or referrals of patients to appropriate healthcare.

Perform completed, detailed, and accurate health histories, review patient records, develop comprehensive medical and nursing status reports, and order radiological and diagnostic studies appropriate for compliant, age, race, sex and physician condition of the patient.

Perform comprehensive physician examinations and assessments.

Plan and initiate a therapeutic program within established protocols and institutional policies.

Interpret and analyze patient data and results of laboratory and diagnostic test.

Provide instructions and guidance regarding healthcare and healthcare promotion to patients, families and significant others.

Demonstrate and encourage team behavior and exceptional patient/guest experiences.

Uphold and promote patient safety and quality.
Education:
Bachelor's degree required with preference for master's degree as Women's Health Nurse Practitioner.
Experience:
Required 5-7 years of progressive healthcare management experience in Women's Health or high-risk OB/GYN setting.
Additional Skills/Abilities:
Possess excellent interpersonal skills sufficient to interact with guests. Proficient oral and written communication skills. Basic computer skills required. Must be ACLS certified.
