Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Job Summary

As a Pharmacy Technician I, you play a vital role in supporting Centerstone’s mission by ensuring individuals receive the medications and support they need to achieve better health outcomes. Working closely with pharmacists and clinical teams, you help create a welcoming, respectful, and efficient pharmacy experience for every patient.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete required technician training modules to build pharmacy and RX system knowledge
  • Provide compassionate, respectful customer service aligned with Centerstone’s values
  • Respond to incoming calls and routine pharmacy questions within scope
  • Receive and process new prescriptions and refill requests from prescribers
  • Collect and document accurate patient and prescription information
  • Assist pharmacists with prescription preparation, including counting, pouring, and labeling medications
  • Maintain pharmacy inventory and supplies to ensure uninterrupted patient care
  • Prepare and submit insurance claims and verify payment processing
  • Assist patients with locating over‑the‑counter (OTC) medications
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized pharmacy environment
  • Make deliveries and process payments as needed
  • Participate in ongoing training and staff development to support quality improvement

Education & Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Required: Valid Pharmacy Technician license in good standing with the appropriate Board of Pharmacy or application submitted
