Veterinary Technician – Full Time
📍 Good Shepherd Pet Hospital | Odessa, FL 33556
🕐 Schedule: Full-Time | Rotating Saturdays Required
💲 Pay: $17–$23 per hour depending on experience
Good Shepherd Pet Hospital is growing and looking for a skilled Veterinary Technician to join our team in Odessa, Florida, just outside Tampa. Our hospital was founded by Dr. Bassem Deeb with a mission to deliver compassionate, individualized care while strengthening the bond between pets and their families.

Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and procedures
- Provide anesthesia monitoring and surgical support
- Collect diagnostic samples including blood draws and catheter placement
- Administer medications and injections as directed
- Take radiographs and perform EKGs when needed
- Assist with patient preparation and recovery for procedures
- Communicate clearly with clients regarding treatment plans and patient updates
- Work collaboratively with the team to keep appointments and treatments running smoothly
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2 years of veterinary technician experience
- Strong technical skills including venipuncture, IV catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, and surgical assistance
- Comfortable working rotating Saturday shifts
- Reliable, positive, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinic
- Strong communication skills with both clients and coworkers
- A team-oriented professional who enjoys contributing to a supportive culture
