Head of Marketing & CVC

Job Description

Responsibilities 

  • Drive revenue growth through the direct sales and promotion of the GB Marketing portfolio (Digital, Print, Consulting, Brand Visibility), with shared accountability for turnover targets and performance tracking
  • Partner closely with Sales by coaching teams, leading joint customer engagements, and directly managing key marketing clients and priority accounts using a consulting‑led value creation approach
  • Develop and execute standard and ad‑hoc digital campaigns, and manage media and print distribution channels in collaboration with central Media teams
  • Build, manage, and expand strategic partnerships (e.g. shopping malls, associations, tourism and hospitality ecosystems) to unlock new commercial opportunities
  • Manage marketing tools, including the marketing products booking platform, and oversee marketing products, advertising, and promotion budgets with clear governance and reporting
  • Conduct competitive benchmarking and market analysis to inform positioning, offer development, and go‑to‑market strategies
  • Ensure brand guideline consistency across all communications and oversee in‑store sales material updates.
  • Enable Sales and Refunding teams with high‑impact sales decks, training programs, and locally adapted tools, thereby maintaining a consistent training strategy and actively monitoring the marketing offer in market.
  • Proactively lead internal and external communication plans and maintain continuous feedback loops with Product teams to support ongoing improvement and innovation

Main KPI’s 

  • Marketing products turnover
  • Value and volume of new marketing product deals signed
  • Adherence to corporate standards with no identified deviations
  • Coverage and performance of digital communications, including number of campaigns, emails sent, open and click‑through rates, and quality and impact of written communications
  • PR effectiveness measured through media coverage, media impressions, and event or activation attendance
  • Number and quality of CVC cases delivered for key customers

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong team player with experience working in international and cross‑cultural environments, ideally with first leadership experience
  • Solid business intelligence skills with advanced Excel proficiency and strong analytical capabilities
  • Strong knowledge of CRM systems, including lead acquisition, nurturing, email marketing, and loyalty programs
  • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively
  • Strong consultative selling skills focused on understanding customer needs and delivering value‑driven solutions
  • Full professional fluency in English required
  • Ability to transform data into actionable insights and compelling narratives

Qualifications and education requirements 

  • University degree in Marketing, Business or a similar relevant field or comparable technical qualification
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven success in selling marketing products, ideally within a digital, media, or publishing agency environment, or in marketing consulting
  • Strong experience collaborating with and managing external partners and vendors mandatory
  • Strong hands‑on experience with online media and digital marketing solutions of advantage
  • Strong experience collaborating with and managing external partners and vendors mandatory
  • Demonstrated experience working effectively within a matrix organization of advantage
