Job Description

Reports To: FOH Manager 

Job Summary:

Busser will provide restaurant cleanliness, preparation and assistance services throughout the restaurant. 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None

 

Duties/Responsibilities:

 

  • Arrange table settings and folds napkins according to restaurant standard.
  • Clears, cleans, and sanitizes tables.
  • Maintains, cleans, and sanitizes workstations.
  • Refills condiments or other supplies.
  • Follows all safety and sanitation guidelines and regulations to ensure quality food service. 
  • Collect plates and clears the table as customers finish their meals.
  • Replenishes plates, utensils, cups, etc. for the servers. 
  • Performs other related duties as assigned. 
  • Sweep and maintain the parking lot clean
  • Make sure the customer bathrooms are always clean and filled with necessary items
  • Maintain the dining room floors, by sweeping and mopping at the end of the night.
  • Take care of all the trash in the dining room 
  • Fills the ice stations
  • Sets the entirety of the restaurant before opening
  • First ones in, last ones out 

 

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to read and follow instructions.
  • Understanding of proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
  • Food handler certification 

 

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods standing and walking.
  • You must be able to access and navigate all areas of the restaurant.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
