JOB PURPOSE:
Magnum Ice Cream Company has the unique opportunity to build our own, unified and simplified Ice Cream way of working by delivering the competitive tech solutions our people are demanding now and going forward. The Deployment team will drive the set-up, standalone design, and implementation of all required structure and capabilities to enable Magnum Ice Cream Company to operate our own business in One Ice Cream way.
As part of our ambitious growth strategy, we are seeking a skilled Source-to-Pay Lead for East Europe market to play a key role in our transformation journey. This role will partner with the Global Source to Pay Process Owner and work closely with East Europe Deployment Lead and other Functional Leads in East Europe to build our future-fit Source to Pay processes and solution stack. This includes our technology platforms, data & analytics solutions, and all the applications, tools and reports that feed into it. This role will also lead local establishment of managing set up of new offices, travel services and fleet services in East Europe.
This role will exist in its current form for ~12-15 months. We expect the deployment process to have been concluded in this period.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Validates the Source to Pay (S2P) process for the market, covering purchase requisition, PO creation, goods receipt, invoice matching and payment release (as-is done by 3rd party, only approval happens on market)
- Engages with procurement and finance teams to confirm supplier setup, terms, invoice types and key non-standard processes
- Supports cleansing and review of vendor master data and open POs, and helps resolve duplicate or inactive entries ahead of cutover
- Participates in UAT for S2P processes, e.g. purchasing flows, including exception handling for direct vs. indirect procurement, and local contract processes
- Leads local establishment of managing set up of new offices, travel services and fleet services in East Europe.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
- Experience in operational procurement or payables within the market or regional function
- Familiarity with SAP MM (Materials Management), invoice management tools and local payment practices is desirable
- Strong coordination skills between Finance, Procurement and AP (Accounts Payable) teams
- Detail-oriented with the ability to surface policy gaps or manual workarounds that may be impacted by deployment
EXPERIENCES & QUALIFICATIONS: The preferred candidate would have a strong understanding in procurement backed up by substantial years of experience across East Europe countries.
