Job Summary
Designs and executes industrial tests to ensure product quality and reliability. Analyzes test data and implements improvements to optimize manufacturing processes.
Key Areas of Responsibility
• This role is responsible for ensuring the Testability of the Devices as required by the Test-Measurement-Configuration Requirements as received from development during NPI Phase
• This role Designs and Delivers Industrial graded test solutions to ensure required test coverage, in compliance with global test strategy and workmanships standards
• Acting as Guardian Angel of agreed global standards ensuring “Design for testability” making sure we achieve optimum test coverage at lowest integral cost for the product (supporting development who makes test requirements)
• Develops and Releases Industrial Test Solutions that do not create production line disruptions, optimize the cycle time to harmonize production flow and reduce false failures
• Investigating and releasing modular and reusable building blocks for new technologies and Integrate into the Standardized Global Hardware and/or Software Platform
• Contribute to the Global Test Community and documentation portal by good practices, lessons learned and training other test engineers
• Enabling the future business quality requirements by ensuring the compliance of the released industrial test solutions with the test specifications & requirements taking into account the scalability, standardization and fit for future.
• Develops and implements test procedures for new and existing manufacturing processes.
• Conducts tests on industrial equipment and products to identify defects and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Analyzes test results and generates detailed reports to inform engineering and production teams.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues.
• Maintains and calibrates testing equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Supports continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for process optimization.
• Ensures adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations during testing activities.
Critical Experiences
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field is required to understand test system design and manufacturing processes.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in industrial test engineering or manufacturing test solution development, including designing test procedures and troubleshooting production issues.
• Certification in quality management systems (e.g., Six Sigma Green Belt) or relevant safety and compliance certifications are essential to ensure adherence to global standards and regulatory requirements.
