Assistant Category Manager - Video, Camera and Lighting

Sweetwater, the nation's number 1 online retailer of musical instruments and pro audio gear is seeking an Assistant Category Manager specializing in the area of camera, video and lighting. The Assistant Category Manager will be responsible for answering product availability questions, pre-sales questions from our Sales Engineers, updating price lists, and perform other duties as requested from the Category Manager.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assisting their Category Manager in maintaining the inventory and assortment
• Deliver service and support to Sales Engineers via phone and email
• Working with our numerous vendors to resolve a variety of issues for Sales Engineers
• Creating and maintaining inventory records in 4D
• Managing Market Price Reports
• Managing exception reports promptly and accurately
• Staying current with system information, changes, and updates

Qualifications

• Ability to effectively provide support to Sales
• Degree or Certificate in Music Technology or similar or 3 years of industry experience
• Knowledge of headphone, video and camera equipment
• Knowledge of music and audio visual technology.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
• Paying close attention to detail and a high level of organization
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
