About the Role
Join the Scientific Affairs team and support projects that shape research priorities, analyze scientific engagement, and strengthen how ASH advances biomedical science. This internship provides exposure to research strategy, data analysis, and scientific society operations within a national medical organization.
What You’ll Do
- Support preparation of agendas, meeting materials, and minutes for research working groups
- Assist with data aggregation and analysis for Hemostasis and Thrombosis engagement projects
- Help develop reports summarizing scientific participation and impact data
- Support survey setup and management using QuestionPro
- Contribute to analysis and reporting of scientific gap and expertise surveys
- Attend departmental and committee meetings and support follow-up documentation
What We’re Looking For
- Graduate student (Biomedical Research, Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field preferred)
- Research experience required (academic or applied)
- Strong interest in biomedical science, research strategy, or public health
- Experience in office or administrative settings preferred
Skills
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) – intermediate
- Comfortable working with data and basic analysis
- Strong writing, organization, and attention to detail
