Methodist Retirement Communities (MRC), with a mission to honor and serve older adults as an expression of Christ’s love, does so with eight continuing-care retirement communities in Texas. Affiliated with MRC and located in Texarkana, Cornerstone Retirement Community, is a leader in continuing care retirement living offering independent living, assisted living, memory support, skilled nursing and rehabilitation, and home health.

Cornerstone is currently seeking a Full-Time Courtesy Officer .

Hours: 3:30pm to Mid-night Wednesday, Thursday, & Friday and 8:00am-4:00pm Saturday and Sunday. Off days will be Monday and Tuesday

The Courtesy Officer: 

• Provides coverage at front desk in the community as a key contact for residents for a variety of requests.
• Serves as the first point of contact for guests, greeting them and meeting their needs for information and direction.
• Answers the main telephone number, greeting callers, routing calls and providing information.
• Responsible for patrolling the buildings and grounds.
• Provides light maintenance and environmental upkeep.
