Work Experience Description:

Ideal for students who have begun gaining relevant experience and are building their skills through internships, part-time jobs, or significant projects. Typically aimed at sophomores or juniors who have completed a combination of introductory and advanced coursework.

Job Summary Assist students with technical questions on design programs including Adobe Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and After Effects. ​Help students print assignments. Maintain the lab in a clean and inspiring working condition. Visual arts major preferred. **This is a part-time (19 hours) position.** Primary Responsibilities Help students with technical questions on design programs. Know how to trouble shoot design programs including Adobe Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Glyphs app, and After Effects. Do light maintenance duty in the lab such as dusting and straightening the equipment. Help maintain supplies including paper, ink, and toner. Light design work requested by the visual arts department. Help students print their assignments. Confer with clients to discuss and determine layout design. Create designs, concepts, and sample layouts, based on knowledge of layout principles and aesthetic design concepts. Performs other duties as assigned.
