PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION (GENERAL STATEMENT):

To support the Lean Operations group in the duties listed below and any future needs as required by management. To participate in the continuous improvement of the maintenance departments at Alliance Compressors and the support thereof. 

Job Description

Workflow management of all 5 support groups to include Assembly , Machining, and Facilities Maintenance as well as Production, Warehouse and Chem Team with duties consisting of:

  • Performing data entry for all groups:
    • Enter/edit corrective work orders
    • Enter/edit preventive maintenance (PM) requests
    • KPI tracking
  • Performing the functions of an Alliance Maintenance System (AMS) Administrator:
    • Train users how to use the system
    • Add/create new users, reset passwords, set permissions
    • Provide ideas for future development/improvement of the system to the IT department
  • Supporting the plant 5S+1 program ,TPM tracking and documentation
  • Performing Lean Operations administrative functions:
    • Prepare weekly work packages for each department
    • Track and report on Production PMs and KPIs
    • Track and report on Weld Tech PMs and KPIs
    • Create labels
    • Manage document retention per retention policies for the Alliance Maintenance System
    • Create charts and spreadsheets as requested by management
  • Converting of quotes to p.o.’s
  • Attending all weekly planning meetings as well as special meetings and take notes
  • Providing support to the Reliability Engineer

Job Requirements

  • Microsoft Excel intermediate level experience required
  • General proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work under strict and changing deadlines

Eligibility to Bid for any hourly position includes:

  • If lateral bid, must have completed at least 6 months of fulltime employment as an Alliance employee
  • If promotional bid, must be a regular fulltime Alliance employee 
  • Have no more than a Written Discussion for Attendance 
  • Have no active Job Performance Corrective Action notices on file
