All about the role:
Sitting within BA EMEA business area, the OEM Supply Planner is responsible for planning and managing the end‑to‑end supply of sourced finished goods from OEM partners to EMEA markets.
The role ensures product availability in line with demand forecasts while optimizing and properly balancing inventory level, logistic costs, and service levels. The Supply Planner works cross‑functionally with Demand Planning, Product Line, Logistics, Supplier planning team, contributing continuous improvement initiatives within the OEM supply chain.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. OEM Supply Planning
Develop, maintain, and execute medium and short‑term OEM supply plans aligned with demand forecasts and commercial priorities.
Translate demand requirements into supply orders considering supplier capacity, lead times, and constraints.
Ensure timely availability of finished goods for assigned product portfolios, while keeping under control Inventory level and logistic costs.
3. Stakeholder Collaboration
Keep strong connection among Supplier Planning team, Demand Planners, Product Line, Logistics, Launch planners and commercial areas.
Ensure regular and effective communication with local market stakeholders to align supply plans with commercial strategies and promotions for assigned product portfolios.
Attend regular alignment with Supplier Planning team to align markets needs with production schedules and PO confirmation.
4. Demand & Supply Alignment
Collaborate closely with Demand Planning to review demand volatility, market changes and supply disruptions.
Participate in regular demand/supply forums to understand and incorporate market forecasts into the OEM supply plan.
Adjust supply plans in response to demand fluctuations to maintain service, inventory and cost balance.
5. Inventory Management
Optimize inventory levels across the EU distribution network to ensure target service levels while minimizing working capital.
Monitor and report inventory KPIs such as integrated inventory, stock coverage, slow movers, excess, and obsolescence.
6. Risk Management & Contingency Planning
Identify supply chain risks and develop contingency plans to minimize disruption from supply delays, quality issues, or capacity constraints.
7. Performance Monitoring & Reporting
Track and analyze key supply chain KPIs (service level, inventory level).
Identify and report supply risks impacting main KPIs.
8. Continuous improvement
Identify opportunities to improve supply planning processes, tools, and data quality.
Support automation, digitalization, and standardization initiatives within OEM supply planning team.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in Supply Chain, preferably in Planning or sourced finished goods environments.
Fluent English (written and spoken).
Familiarity with Supply planning and execution, demand forecasting principles and inventory management.
Solid experience working with SAP and advanced planning tools (e.g., APO, IBP, OTM).
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a data‑driven mindset.
Strong communication and collaboration skills across functions and cultures.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
