Job Description

Purpose of the Role

In this newly created position within our New Business, DES, and Life Sciences department, you will act as the vital link between our commercial ambitions and operational excellence.

Your mission is to streamline the sales cycle by providing high-level administrative and coordination support. This ensures our sales teams can focus on building relationships, while you manage the critical documentation and processes that underpin our growth in the UK market.


A Day in Your Life

Your day will be varied and fast-paced, primarily based at our Runcorn office.

You may begin by coordinating complex bid documentation or updating the CRM system to ensure accurate sales forecasting. Throughout the day, you will:

  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to gather technical and commercial data for proposals

  • Manage incoming customer inquiries

  • Ensure all sales-related administrative tasks are executed with precision

You are the engine room of the sales process, maintaining momentum from initial contact through to contract signature.

Key Challenges

As this is a newly created role, you will play a key part in establishing efficient workflows where they may not yet exist.

You will need to:

  • Balance competing priorities across multiple sales streams, including Decentralised Energy Solutions (DES) and Life Sciences

  • Adapt quickly between different technical contexts

  • Maintain high accuracy under tight deadlines

Your ability to stay organised and deliver consistently high standards will be critical to success.

What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate the preparation and submission of sales proposals and tender documents

  • Maintain and update CRM systems to ensure data accuracy and reporting integrity

  • Act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders

  • Support the sales team with meeting preparation, travel coordination, and event management

  • Ensure all activities comply with internal quality standards and UK regulatory requirements
     

What You Bring

  • Proven experience in a sales support or high-level administrative role

  • Ideally, experience within a technical or industrial environment

  • Strong proficiency in modern office software and CRM platforms

What We Offer

We provide a professional and supportive working environment based on a 37.5-hour working week.

Your package includes:

  • 28 days of paid annual leave (inclusive of public holidays)

  • A 6-month probation period

  • Notice period of 1–3 months depending on service
