Job Description:
• Demonstrates basic skills in sampling, mapping, and logging chips and core
• Understanding of Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QAQC) processes and ability to integrate and display all key data types in 2D and 3D
• Collecting and analyzing geotechnical data
• Produces interpreted geological and mineralogical wireframes for resource estimation purposes
• Basic understanding of Meisterplan and it’s uses
• Basic knowledge of key deposit models
• Considers safety, permitting, mining laws, environment, cultural heritage, stakeholder engagement, prospectivity, geoscience, regolith, geophysics, geochemistry & previous work in the preparation & implementation of exploration programs
• Ensures that he/she has the necessary skills, knowledge and training to complete allocated tasks
• Implements exploration activities in accordance with company values, policies, standards, procedures, relevant laws, regulations, conditions, local cultural norms and third party agreements
• Demonstrated understanding of the need to control costs and the business objectives and the role self/team have in achieving them
• Recognizes the stakeholders (internal and external) which are impacted by their work and seeks advice regarding engagement with stakeholders
• Fosters a positive team environment
• Collects and manages relevant data to a high standard of quality assurance and control
• Contributes to internal and statutory reporting
• Develops skills in presenting data to peers & superiors
