Job Description
Lifecycle and maintance of ATLAAS container infrstructure. Ressources build on DT internal Openstack platform. Multiple Docker container, orchestrated with Kubernetes (Rancher, Istio, ..). Prodution, test, and reference environments. Interface to build on Microservices for DT internal customers. Automated deployment, redundancy, desaster recovery, incident management. Open to further training and self-development.
Qualifications
Requirements [must-have]
1.) Expertise (hands-on in-depth knowledge) in:
- System Fundamentals (Linux, CLI, bash)
- Container Orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Container Management (Docker)
- Deployment Management (Helm and Kustomize)
2.) Proficiency (strong understanding) in:
- VCS (GitHub or GitLab)
- CI/CD (Kaniko or Buildah)
- GitOps (Flux or ArgoCD)
- Spoken and written English
3.) Practical experience (operational confidence) in:
- Networking (TCP/IP, DNS)
- Web (HTTP, TLS)
Requirements [nice-to-have]
4.) Practical experience (operational confidence) in:
- Authentication (Keycloak/OAuth2)
- Secrets Management (External Secrets Operator + any vault)
5.) Familiarity (general understanding) with:
- Visualization (Grafana, Kibana, or similar solutions)
- Data Processing (Extract Transform Load pipelines)
- Spoken and/or written German
An ideal candidate would be an experienced Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or someone with equivalent knowledge after minimum 3 years in operating and/or building services over Kubernetes.
